Compassionate counseling for First Responders
At Wounded Healer Counseling, my mission is to provide high-quality counseling services to First Responders who are experiencing emotional or psychological difficulties.
I use a client-centered approach, working collaboratively with clients to identify their goals and develop a customized treatment plan. I also place a strong emphasis on building a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship.
I grew up in the Salt Lake area in a family of law enforcement and graduated from California State University, Hayward, with degrees in Sociology, Criminal Justice and Social Work (MSW). I have experience working along side law enforcement and first responders as a juvenile corrections officer, child welfare investigator, adult probation, and have worked in both the Utah State Prison and (currently) the Salt Lake County jail as a mental health therapist.
I truly value the therapeutic relationship and strive to meet the comfortability and connection needed to express yourself without judgement in a safe environment.
